1999 Saab 9-3 convertible, finished in black with a tan leather interior. Refurbished the head, replaced the timing chain as well as the metal timing chain guide, and oil pickup screen, and installed new gaskets and fluids in preparation for the sale. Modifications on this 9-3 are limited to an accessory rear spoiler, woodgrain trim, and a Pioneer touchscreen head unit.Saab updated its 900 for the 1999 model year and rechristened the new car 9-3. Changes included lightly updated styling, suspension revisions, side-impact airbags, and newly standard turbo power across the range. Base and SE trim levels were available, differentiated mainly in a slightly higher power output for later 9-3 SEs, as well as a stiffer suspension. Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4, which produces 185 horsepower and 194 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
