1993 Audi S4 finished in Pearlescent White Clearcoat Metallic with an Ecru interior. A partial list of notable equipment includes Audi's Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system, carbon fiber interior trim, heated seats front and rear, tilt and telescoping adjustable steering column, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose audio system, among other standard and optional equipment. Modifications are limited to an Audi RS2 exhaust manifold and an EFI Express ECU tune. The Audi 100 S4, or Type 4A S4, was Audi's first foray into a high performance version of their compact sedan, in this case the Audi 100. Produced from 1991 to 1994, the S4 had an intercooled single turbo attached to Audi's venerable inline-5 cylinder engine. For North American markets, only a 5-speed manual was available. Power comes from a 2.2-liter turbocharged inline-5, rated at 227 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
