Product Details

2004 Mazda Mazdaspeed MX-5 Miata, finished in Velocity Red with a black and red cloth interior. Modifications to this Miata include the Little Enchilada kit from Flyin' Miata, which adds an aftermarket intake, intercooler, downpipe, and full exhaust system. The seller states that California-buyers should be aware that these modifications are not CARB compliant.According to the seller, during his ownership, he has replaced the timing belt and radiator. The flagship of the "NB" Miata line was unquestionably the turbocharged Mazdaspeed. According to Jalopnik, around 5,428 units were built over a two-year run. Mechanical upgrades over previous NBs included turbo power, an upgraded suspension with Bilstein shocks, wider wheels, heavier duty clutch and driveshaft, and a six-speed manual gearbox. Cosmetic upgrades included smoked headlight housings, foglights, and a body kit. The car was also available in just two colors for 2004; Titanium Gray or Velocity Red, as seen with this MX-5.Power comes from a turbocharged and intercooled 1.8-liter inline-4, which produces 178 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque in stock form. However, Flyin' Miata reports that their kit adds 33 percent more power, bringing the figure to around 200 horsepower at the wheels.
