Factory equipment on this M240i includes 18-inch wheels, an adaptive M suspension system, leather upholstery, heated front sport seats, a Harman-Kardon sound system, and a navigation system, according to a build sheet pictured in the gallery. The sole modification reported by the seller is a Dinan ECU tune. The engine oil, the engine oil filter, the engine air filter, and the cabin air filter were changed by a BMW dealership at 33,224 miles. BMW released the original 2 Series for the 2014 model year as a replacement for the two-door variants of the 1 Series. At launch, the range consisted of the 228i, which received a 4-cylinder engine, and the sportier M235i, which was powered by a straight-6. Both picked up where their esteemed predecessors left off by offering enthusiasts balanced handling, strong performance, and the luxurious interior BMW is known for. 2018 brought an update that included subtle visual tweaks, a redesigned interior, and improved engines. Dinan claims its tune increases those figures to 410 and 407, respectively, but a dyno sheet isn't available. Called "B58" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission linked to a pair of shift paddles.
