The only modification reported by the seller is a set of 16.5-inch aftermarket wheels.The civilian version of the HMMWV — or Humvee — was built between 1992 and 2006 at an AM General plant in Indiana. Numerous attributes that made the original armed forces version such a success in combat were carried into the civilian model, including portal axles, a central tire inflation system, and high-mount air induction for water fording.Power comes from a 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8, rated at approximately 195 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Output is directed to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission, a 2-speed transfer case, and portal axles.
