The range included a base GT model and a sportier GT-S variant, which benefited from a Yamaha-developed engine, developing 40 more horsepower than in the base GT model. Toyota stopped selling the Celica in the United States in 2005, and it hasn't resurrected the nameplate since.Power comes from the "2ZZ-GE" inline-4, which produces 180 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.
