This 1959 Porsche Speedster replica was built by Vintage Speedsters in 2007. The car is finished in black over a dark brown leather interior and features a Nardi steering wheel. Instrumentation is done in a vintage style with green lettering. Power is delivered by a 1915cc Brazilian AS41 case (engine) with dual weber 40 carbs and K&N filters, giving it more than enough power to give you a new hairstyle. The master cylinder had reportedly been replaced about a year ago. Power is delivered through a 4-speed manual transaxle gearbox. This Speedster replica has disc brakes up front and drum brakes on the rear. The hand-laid fiberglass body is fitted over a Volkswagen chassis. This example features front and rear bumpers along with period-style badging. The stereo system installed was done when the car was assembled.
