Product Details

2002 Lincoln Blackwood, finished in Gunslinger Black with a black interior. This Lincoln is factory equipped with 18-inch wheels, rear air suspension, faux-wood bedside paneling, a carpeted bed floor with aluminum side walls, Dutch-style bed doors in lieu of a traditional tailgate, a power-operated bed cover, full leather interior, heated and air-conditioned front seats, power-adjustable pedals, a sunroof, navigation system with the factory CDs, and more as detailed below. This truck benefits from over $4,000 in recent servicing that includes new tires and brakes, refinished wheels, new wheel bearings and axle seals, a refurbished bed cover power module by Module Masters, and more as detailed below. Corresponding service documentation is pictured in the photo gallery.Launched in 2002 as an experiment, the Lincoln Blackwood tested the motoring public's desire for a truck with an 8,700-lb towing capacity that also flaunted amenities usually found in high-end luxury cars of the day; considering the sales success of the Navigator that debuted four years prior, the concept seemed like a home run idea. Lincoln had originally planned to build 10,000 units annually, though poor sales performance caused the marque to pull the plug entirely after just 3,356 units were produced over a single model year. Power comes from a 5.4-liter, twin-cam "InTech" V8, which produces 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
