Product Details

1986 Yugo GV, finished in Manila Beige with a tan interior. This hatchback is equipped with a rebuilt 1.5-liter engine donated from a Fiat X1/9. Equipment includes a rear wiper and rear defogger, a heater, cloth upholstery, hand-crank windows, pop-out quarter windows, and more as detailed below. A partial list of other modifications reported by the seller includes dual Weber carburetors, 15-inch Sparco wheels, cut and rolled fenders, Wilwood front brake calipers, and Hella fog lights. The Yugo GV was manufactured in the former Yugoslavia, where it was known as the Zastava Koral. Mechanically, it's closely related to the Fiat 127. Although widely maligned as one of the worst cars ever made due to its relatively slow engine, a build quality best described as approximate, and hit-or-miss reliability, the GV is has developed a cult following by morphing into a classic that's rare, cheap, and quirky.Power comes from a Fiat 1.5-liter inline-4. Due to the modifications, this engine may be making more power than stock versions, though a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission.
