2014 CAV GT, finished in Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripes and a black interior. Not a kit car, this GT is a fiberglass-bodied replica of the Ford GT40 developed and built by South Africa-based Cape Advanced Vehicles (CAV). It's titled for street use. Equipment includes 15-inch center-locking wheels, an adjustable suspension system, a Wilwood braking system, dual fuel tanks, leather upholstery, and air conditioning. The only modification reported by the seller is clear protective film on the front end.Cape Advanced Vehicles was founded in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1999 to make Ford GT40 replicas. It developed a stainless-steel monocoque chassis to underpin its builds, redesigned the suspension system, and added air conditioning. It claims it modified the cabin to allow drivers up to 6'4" to fit in its replicas. CAV still makes the GT in 2021.Power comes from a 5.7-liter (347-cubic-inch) Keith Craft V8, reportedly rated at 470 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
