1986 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL, finished in Diamond Blue Metallic with a Royal Blue interior. Factory equipment includes 15-inch wheels, headlight wipers, wood interior trim, power-adjustable front and rear seats, and heated door mirrors. This sedan's build sheet is pictured in the gallery.The only modifications reported by the seller are a black pinstripe on both sides of the car, a BOSS Audio Systems touchscreen that replaces the factory head unit, and a rear-view camera.Mercedes-Benz introduced the W126 for the 1981 model year, and it expanded the range during the 1980s. 6- and 8-cylinder models were offered, plus long- and short-wheelbase variants and a coupe called C126 internally. Launched for 1986, the 300SDL replaced the 300SD with a new and far more modern turbodiesel engine that made it noticeably quicker. It left the W126 line-up after the 1987 model year.Power comes from a 3.0-liter turbodiesel straight-6 engine, rated at 148 horsepower and 201 lb-ft of torque. Called "OM603" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
