Imported to the United States from Japan in May 2022 and fully federalized according to the selling dealer, it's equipped with an imperial instrument cluster that currently indicates about 151,000 miles. The attached Carfax history report starts in 2022 and lists no accidents for the given time period. It also notes that this RS4 was declared to meet U.S. highway safety standards after it was imported.A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of notable equipment includes 18-inch wheels, an RS4-specific body kit, leather and cloth upholstery, power-adjustable and heated Recaro front sport seats, and a Japanese-spec Audi Navigation infotainment system.Modifications reported by the selling dealer include KW Suspension V3 coilover suspension system, 034Motorsport lobster claws, an aftermarket ECU chip, and a Black Forest Industries weighted blue shift knob.Service documentation shown in the gallery indicates that this RS4 has had its Borg Warner K04 turbochargers, clutch, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, and cam seals replaced in September 2022.Audi released the first-generation RS4 Avant in 1999 as the long-awaited follow-up to the legendary RS2 Avant. Based on the original "B5" A4 and offered exclusively as a wagon, the RS4 gained a powerful twin-turbocharged V6 modified by Cosworth, permanent all-wheel-drive, and a long list of standard features. It offered enthusiasts sports car-like performance in a practical, family-friendly package. Audi built about 6,030 units of the first RS4 between 1999 and 2002; none were officially sold in the United States.Power comes from a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6, rated at 375 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications performed to this RS4, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and Audi's Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system.
