Optional extras include the Cold Weather Package (which adds heated front seats and headlight washers), the Premium Package (which includes wood interior trim and leather, among other features), and 16-way power-adjustable comfort seats.In the United States, BMW introduced the E39-generation 5 Series for the 1997 model year.
