2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG, finished in Cubanite Silver Metallic with a black interior. Modifications include RENNtech's R1 Package, a pair of RENNtech headers, and a hardwired Passport 9500ci radar detector and laser jammer with a mirror-integrated display. Factory equipment includes 18-inch wheels, an AMG-specific body kit, a power-folding hardtop, heated and power-adjustable seats, and a CD player. It was last serviced in March 2021; the front struts, drive belts, and engine mounts were among the components replaced.Launched for 2005, the "R171"-generation SLK retained its predecessor's power-folding hardtop and compact dimensions but it gained a revised exterior design, higher-quality materials in the cabin, and improved handling. Mercedes-Benz positioned the AMG-developed SLK55 model at the top of the line-up; it was notably the only R171 available with a V8 engine. Production ended in 2011. Power comes from a 5.4-liter V8, rated at 355 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque when left stock. RENNtech states that its R1 Package increases those numbers to 385 and 400, respectively, and that the headers add up to 15 horsepower and 20 lb-ft of torque; however, a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Called "M113" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission.
