Product Details

1983 Land Rover 110, finished in white with a gray interior. This is a left-hand-drive, Dutch-spec Land Rover that's titled in Texas. Reportedly imported from England in January 2021, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster and its odometer displays about 215,500 kilometers, which represents approximately 133,900 miles. Modifications reported by the seller include a Weber carburetor, a snorkel-type air intake system, a bigger exhaust system, 16-inch wheels, "DEFENDER" lettering on the hood, diamond plating on the hood, fenders, and rocker panels, a roof rack with a ladder, Exmoor Trim rear jump seats with seatbelts, Mitchell fans in the rear compartment, a Grundig CD player, and aftermarket speakers.Service records shown in the gallery detail some of the repairs and maintenance performed on this 110. The clutch was replaced in March 2022 and a new headgasket was installed in July 2021.Land Rover introduced the four-door 110 and the two-door 90 in 1983 and 1984, respectively, to replace the long-running Series III. While both models looked a lot like their predecessors, they offered users a more up-to-date interior, a permanent four-wheel drive system, and a coil spring suspension system. The 110 and the 90 morphed into the original Defender in 1990, though the numerical designations remained to differentiate two- and four-door models, and production carried on with minor updates until 2016.Power comes from a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine, rated at about 74 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque. The modifications might increase those figures but a dyno sheet is not available. Called "11H" internally, the engine spins the four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
