In addition to a number of safety improvements and tech upgrades, the newest Accord also made extensive use of aluminum in its construction resulting in significant weight savings over the outgoing model.Power for this comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged DOHC inline-4, rated at 252 horsepower and 273 torque in stock form. According to the dyno sheet pictured in the gallery, it now produces 358 horsepower and 355 torque at the wheels on 93 octane fuel, and 395 horsepower and 377 torque at the wheels with an Ethanol blend. Output is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
