2001 Honda S2000, refinished in Apex Blue Pearl with a black leather interior. Originally, this Honda S2000 was painted Silverstone Metallic but has been resprayed in Apex Blue Pearl, an OEM color on the S2000 CR. Additional modifications to this S2000 are detailed below. include an Izze Racing air pump simulator, a test pipe, and aftermarket headlights and side markers.Honda introduced the S2000 for the 2000 model year to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Offered only as a convertible, it offered a 50/50 weight distribution thanks in part to an engine mounted entirely behind the front axle. Honda called the original S2000 "AP1" internally. The 2001 model was largely unchanged over the introductory year, except Honda added a digital clock to the radio display and made the rear wind deflector standard.Power comes from a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine with Honda's VTEC technology, which revs to 9,000 rpm and produces 240 horsepower and 153 lb-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
