2006 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Access Cab 4x4, finished in Speedway Blue with a grey interior. Factory equipment includes the TRD Off-Road Package, cloth upholstery, part-time four-wheel drive, a composite bed, a trailer hitch, air conditioning, rear bench under-seat storage, and more.This Tacoma has been modified with Yukon 4.56 gears in the front and rear differentials, an Old Man Emu 3-inch lift kit, 16-inch TRD Baja wheels, a Wilco Offroad bed-mounted spare tire, and taillights from a 2009 Tacoma. The full list of modifications can be seen below.Service documentation included in the photo gallery shows that in August 2020 this Taco had both differentials were re-geared from the factory 3.73 ratios to a 4.56 using a Yukon master overhaul kit, and the rear differential carrier replaced.Introduced in 2005, the second-generation Tacoma was larger than its compact predecessor and featured more powerful engine options, a rust and dent-resistant composite bed, and a variety of cab and bed configurations. It remained in production until 2015, and it quickly became sought-after by overlanders and 4x4 enthusiasts who appreciate its proven reliability and its relatively light chassis.Power comes from a 4.0L V6, rated at 236 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
