1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, finished in Torch Red with a black interior.The odometer on this Corvette currently displays about 11,000 miles. Factory equipment includes the FX3 electronically controlled suspension with three drive modes, removable T-Top roof panels, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, and more as listed below. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a Billy Boat exhaust and headers.The original Corvette ZR-1 based on the C4 was codenamed "King of the Hill" while it was in development. Developed with Lotus under GM's ownership, the ZR-1 was positioned to compete with more expensive supercars from the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini. It was a successful experiment with unanimous praise from the automotive press of the period as one of the best American sports cars to date.Power comes from an "LT5" 5.7-liter V8 engine, rated at 405 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this Corvette, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
