2009 Subaru Impreza WRX, finished in Dark Gray Metallic with a black interior. Extensively modified, this WRX is fitted with an IAG Performance "Stage 2.5" closed deck short block and a 6-speed manual transmission sourced from a 2008 WRX STI. The list of modifications reported by the seller also includes a Boosted Performance Tuning "Stage 2" speed density tune, a GrimmSpeed top-mounted intercooler, a Six Star Motorsports flex-fuel kit, PERRIN unequal-length headers, an Invidia Exhausts N1 exhaust system, Fortune Auto 500-Series coilovers, front seats from a WRX STI, a GrimmSpeed shift knob, and an Alpine touchscreen.Subaru released the third-generation WRX for 2008. Offered as a sedan and as a hatchback, the WRX was slightly bigger than its predecessor and it featured a longer wheelbase as well as window frames. Engineers managed to keep weight in check; the third-generation WRX weighed about the same as the model it replaced. 2011 brought a mid-cycle update and production ended in 2014.Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-4, rated at 265 horsepower and 244 lb-ft of torque at the crankshaft when unmodified. The modifications increase those figures to 354 and 404 at the wheels, respectively, according to a dyno sheet pictured in the gallery. The engine spins the four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
