This 1988 Ford F-150 Custom 4x4 really gets it right. It has the right motor, the right off-road investments, the right work-ready attitude, the right comforts, and the right prowess. And it's all being offered right now at the right price. The long bed gives you more capacity; the lifted 4x4 stance gives you more go-anywhere ability, and the overall tough truck look gives you more stature. In fact, you really have the right details, like wide tow mirrors, a wiring plug for the trailer ball, and full liner paint in the bed. But while those are great features for work or play, this one also just likes being a good-looking classic. The blue paint was updated later in life, and it has a nice metallic sparkle in the sunshine. There are good body lines, a nice chrome front bumper, and upgraded 17-inch Pacer wheels. It's just the right amount of fancy without getting too fancy.
