Factory equipment includes a power-retractable soft top, heated and power-adjustable front seats with memory function, a pop-up wind deflector, aluminum and wood interior trim, cruise control, and automatic climate control.Modifications reported by the seller include 19-inch AMG wheels from a newer Mercedes-Benz, reupholstered black seats and door card inserts, a MagnaFlow exhaust system, an aftermarket sound system, and a Pioneer head unit. A full list of modifications can be found below.Mercedes-Benz sold the "R129"-generation SL from 1990 to 2002, and several visual cues (like the shape of the vents behind the front wheels and the rear lights) identify this SL500 as one of the later models built. It's quicker than its predecessor, the long-lived "R107" model, yet it's far simpler than the "R230" model introduced in 2003.The Silver Arrow Edition R129 was produced for the 2002 model year, and it was available on both the SL500 and SL600 models. Included in the special edition were various Silver Arrow interior and exterior badges, two-tone upholstery (reupholstered in this case), the special Silver Arrow silver exterior color, and special dark wood trim, among other special touches; 1,550 units were built for the U.S. market.Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8, rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Called "M113" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
