Factory equipment includes 21-inch Alpina wheels, an Alpina-specific body kit, soft-close doors, heated front and rear seats, a massage function for the driver, a monitor for the rear-seat passengers, and a rear sunshade, according to a build sheet shown in the gallery.Based on the "E65"-generation BMW 7 Series, the third-generation Alpina B7 made its global debut in 2003 and sales in the United States started for the 2006 model year. Approximately 800 units were sold in North America through BMW dealers until the model retired in early 2008.This B7 is powered by a supercharged 4.4-liter V8, rated at 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission that can be shifted manually using a pair of driver-facing buttons on the steering wheel.
