Product Details

1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, finished in Champagne Metallic with a tan interior. The seller reports that the 5.9-liter V8 was professionally rebuilt in February 2017 at 118,000 miles. Equipment includes 15-inch wheels, fog lights, vinyl woodgrain siding, a roof rack and cross bars, a rear window spoiler, leather upholstery, power steering, and more as detailed below. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a Sony Bluetooth head unit and a catalytic converter delete. Released in 1962 to replace the Willys Station Wagon, the Wagoneer was one of the first of what would become the modern SUV as we know it today. Offering exceptional comfort, it was more car-like than its utilitarian predecessor, but nonetheless offered users serious off-road prowess. It gradually moved upmarket during its unusually long production run, and it became the Grand Wagoneer in 1984 to stand out from the XJ-based Wagoneer released that same year. Production finally ended in 1991 under the direction of Chrysler, though the nameplate lived on.Power comes from a 5.9-liter V8, rated at 144 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
