A partial list of notable equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, a power sunroof, leather upholstery, sueded fabric seat inserts, heated front seats, a memory driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, SiriusXM, and an AM/FM/CD radio.Modifications include a custom tune, aftermarket headers, an off-road x-pipe, a Borla cat-back exhaust system, a K&N air filter, an LS7 clutch, Creative Steel shifter linkage bushings and differential bushing, tinted windows, and a SmartCord.The CTS-V was introduced in 2004 as Cadillac's first true high-performance sports sedan. Aimed at competing with the likes of the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG, it borrowed performance parts from other GM performance models such as the Corvette. Before the CTS-V, the last Cadillac with a manual transmission, V8 engine, and rear-wheel drive was available in 1952.Power comes from an "LS2" 6.0-liter V8 engine, rated at 400 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
