Modified for camping, this Sprinter is fitted with swiveling and removable second-row seats, wood cabinets, a fridge, a microwave, a sink, a toilet, a folding platform for a queen-size bed, a rear-view camera, and a pair of roof-mounted 330-watt solar panels, among other aftermarket parts.The second-generation Sprinter arrived in the United States for 2007 as a Dodge, and it joined the Mercedes-Benz range for 2010. It gave motorists with really big things to haul a completely different alternative to Ford and General Motors vans: it featured unibody construction, a cavernous interior, and an available turbodiesel engine. Buyers could choose from several variants, including long- and short-wheelbase models as well as high and low roof configurations.Power comes from a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, rated at 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Called "OM642" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
