1999 Toyota Tacoma XtraCab SR5 Prerunner, finished in Black Metallic with a grey interior. Factory equipment on this Tacoma includes the factory rear locking differential and a PWR ECT button that electronically controls the transmission to hold the revs longer before shifting. It also features chrome exterior accents, power door locks, cruise control, and other 1990s luxuries.Toyota split its global pickup range into two model lines when it released the original Tacoma in 1995. Developed for and built in America, it was a more leisure-oriented model than the work-focused Hilux that soldiered on overseas. The line-up included 2- and 4-wheel-drive models plus a regular or an extended cab. Production ended in 2005.Power for this Tacoma comes from a 3.4-liter V6, rated at 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The engine spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
