2007 BMW M6, finished in Indianapolis Red Metallic with a black leather interior. A partial list of notable equipment includes 19-inch Style 343 alloy wheels, Comfort Access keyless entry, full Merino leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, Madeira walnut wood trim, a head-up display, a navigation system, and a premium hi-fi system. Recent service includes the replacement of the SMG hydraulic unit and accumulator, replacement of the bank 1 throttle actuator, and the changing of the engine oil and brake fluid. BMW resurrected the dormant M6 nameplate on the high-performance variant of the second-generation 6 Series released for the 2006 model year. Called "E63" (coupe) and "E64" (convertible) internally, the model features a high-revving V10 engine and sport-tuned suspension shared with the "E60" M5.
