According to the window sticker pictured in the gallery, this 164 Quadrifoglio had an original MSRP of $38,275 and came from the factory with 15-inch alloy wheels, a power sunroof, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, a premium sound system, and more as listed below. Modifications are limited to the installation of a Pioneer head unit and Metra power antenna, though the factory radio and CD changer are included in the sale.Service documentation pictured in the photo gallery shows that this Alfa has received extensive maintenance, including a $9,200 bottom-end rebuild in 2017. Most recently, an oil change was performed and some peripheral items such as a signal bulb, power-seat switch, and a cabin air filter were replaced.Introduced in 1987, the 164 was the was the final model to be developed by Alfa Romeo before the brand was purchased by Fiat, and it was launched shortly after the Fiat takeover. Although it shared the same platform as the Lancia Thema, Fiat Croma, and Saab 9000, it featured a Pininfarina-designed body and an improved front suspension. The only engine offered for the North American market was the Giuseppe Busso-designed V6 with distinctive polished intake runners. The Quadrifoglio was the range-topping model in the 164 lineup, and it came equipped with an aerodynamic body kit, an adjustable sport suspension, and sport seats. It was the only export 164 offered with a manual transmission. Power comes from a 3.0-liter "Busso" V6, which produces 230 horsepower and 202 lb-ft of torque. The engine spins the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
