Finished in black with an Agate cloth interior. Approximately 6,900 in service was performed on this Jeep since December 2019, including replacement of suspension components, bushings, the radiator, the power steering pump, and more. This Cherokee is the mid-level Classic trim, which came standard with painted front and rear bumpers, 16-inch alloy wheels, and unique cloth upholstery with adjustable front head restraints. Factory optional equipment installed on this Cherokee when new included fog lights, a CD player, an overhead console, cruise control, and tinted rear windows. Modificatoins are limited to the addition of window vent visors.The Cherokee XJ was offered between 1984 and 2001, with its only major update occurring for 1997. Changes for 2000 included the introduction of a distributor-less ignition system for the inline-6 engine as well as new 16-inch wheels for higher-spec models including the Classic.Power comes from a 4.0-liter inline-6 engine, which produces 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a Command-Trac part-time 2-speed transfer case.
