2003 Land Rover Discovery II SE, finished in blue with a tan interior. Equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, two sunroofs, splash guards, vinyl interior, dual-zone automatic climate control, and powered and heated front seats. Modifications include a 3-inch lift kit with Terra Firma shocks, a Terra Firma steering stabilizer, stainless steel side steps, bed liner on the roof and fender flares, and plasti-dipped wheels. A service pictured in the photo gallery shows that this Disco had its cylinder head rebuilt and numerous seals on the engine replaced.The Discovery Series II is the last Land Rover model to utilize the underpinnings of the 1970 Range Rover. The Discovery II has a reported "720 differences" from Series I, according to Land Rover. The Series I and II only share rear door skins; every other exterior panel is altered. The Discovery was revamped for the 2003 model year with Range Rover-style headlights and a 4.6-liter V8 that offered more power than in prior years. Power comes from a 4.6-liter V8, rated at 217 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission with sport mode and a full-time 2-speed transfer case.
