Product Details

2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP, finished in white with a black soft top and a black interior. This roadster is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. The seller states that this Solstice's factory engine was replaced with an identical unit from a Saturn Sky Redline with about 18,400 miles earlier in 2021. He adds that parts of the cooling, braking, and suspension systems were replaced while the engine was out. Receipts for some of the parts are shown in the gallery.Factory equipment includes 18-inch wheels, a limited-slip differential, fog lights, leather upholstery, a CD player, and an electronic stability control system. Pontiac surprised enthusiasts and journalists alike when it took a shot at the Mazda MX-5 Miata with the Solstice. Released for 2006, and twinned with the Saturn Sky, the two-seater roadster was relatively light, nimble to drive, and reasonably affordable. The GXP model arrived for 2007 as the performance champion of the line-up with a more powerful engine, a limited-slip differential, and a specific suspension system, among other changes. Production ended in 2010, when the Pontiac brand was deep-sixed.Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged "Ecotec" 4-cylinder engine, rated at 260 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Called "LNF" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
