The range was split into three models called J-10, J-20, and J-30, respectively, in 1971, and the new names were accompanied by updates like a stronger frame. Several mechanical and visual updates were made to the J-Series models until production finally ended in 1987.Power comes from a 5.9-liter V8, rated at 170 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear or all 4 wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
