2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 Conversion Van, finished in brown with a brown interior. This van was modified by Rocky Ridge Conversions with a body kit, a raised roof panel, heated front seats, individual second- and third-row seats, and a fourth-row bench seat, among other features. The list of modifications reported by the seller also includes 17-inch wheels, a 3-inch leveling kit, a front bumper from a 2008 GMC Sierra, a winch, a U-Haul hitch, and a Vizio television.Chevrolet released the Express for 1996 to replace the Van, which had joined the line-up in the 1970s. New from the ground up, the Express benefitted from numerous improvements including a more spacious interior achieved by moving the front wheels forward by about 10 inches; this reduced the amount of space taken up by the engine in the cabin. The Express has received several updates since its launch, and it's somewhat astonishingly still part of the Chevrolet range in 2022.Power comes from a 6.0-liter "Vortec 6000" V8, rated at 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
