Product Details

2006 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, finished in Iridium Silver with a black interior. Factory equipment includes Mercedes-Benz's Active Body Control (ABC) suspension system, bi-xenon headlights, a power-operated hardtop, wood interior trim, heated and ventilated seats, and a navigation system, according to a window sticker shown in the gallery.Modifications reported by the seller include a Kleemann tune and a set of 20-inch wheels. The factory 19-inch wheels are pictured in the gallery and included in the sale.Called R230 internally, the first new SL of the 21st century made its debut for the 2003 model year as a replacement for the venerable R129 model. It was appreciably quicker and far more advanced than its predecessor, it ditched the boxy lines for a sleeker and more rounded design, and it came standard with a power-retractable hardtop.Power comes from a hand-built 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12, rated at 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the tune increases those figures by 77 and 89, respectively, but a dyno sheet is not available. Called "M275" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
