2004 Chevrolet Express Regency Conversion Van, finished in black with a grey and white interior. This Express was finished by luxury outfitter Regency Conversions, and a partial list of notable modifications includes 2-tone leather and vinyl upholstery, captain's chairs for the front and second rows, heated front seats with power lumbar, a power sliding and reclining sofa bed, central air conditioning and heating, a 23.1-inch TV with DVD player, a rear Kenwood stereo system, a satellite TV system, 18-inch wheels, a sport raised roof, a class III tow hitch receiver, and tinted windows.According to the window sticker shown in the gallery, the base Express came equipped with the 1SD Package, a locking rear differential, driver and passenger side dual opening side doors, power-operated front seats, and more as detailed below.Chevrolet released the Express for 1996 to replace the Van, which had joined the line-up in the 1970s. New from the ground up, the Express benefitted from numerous improvements including a more spacious interior achieved by moving the front wheels forward by about 10 inches; this reduced the amount of space taken up by the engine in the cabin. The Express has received several updates since its launch, and it's astonishingly still part of the Chevrolet range in 2022.Power comes from a 5.3-liter V8, rated at 285 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
