Product Details

1987 Buick Regal Grand National, finished in black with a gray interior. The odometer currently displays approximately 57,900 miles. The included window sticker reveals that this Grand National had an MSRP of $16,796, and that it came equipped with sport suspension, sport door mirrors, gray cloth upholstery, bucket seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and more as detailed below. Modifications reported by the selling dealer include a Kenne Belle chip, K&N air filter, Magnaflow exhaust mufflers, a set of 18-inch U.S. Mags wheels, and more as listed below. The Regal Grand National started life as a tribute to Buick’s NASCAR Manufacturers Cup titles in 1981 and 1982, but it eventually became one of the most influential muscle cars of the 1980s. From 1984 onwards, the GN was available exclusively in black while the turbocharged V6 under the hood grew in power with almost each model year. The result was an unassuming three-box coupe turned into a Ferrari-chasing machine, at roughly half the price of a new Corvette from that era.Power comes from a turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine, rated at 245 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications, this engine may produce more power, but a dyno reading isn’t available. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
