On top of a muscular V10 engine, its differences compared to the standard 5 Series included a head-up display, quad-tip exhaust, flared front guards with cooling vents, and a wider track.The E60 M5 is the first-and-only M5 with a V10 engine, it was also the final M5 to receive naturally-aspirated power. Output comes from the "S85" 5.0-liter V10, which produces 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. It powers the rear wheels via a 7-speed SMG-III automated manual transmission.
