The selling dealer reports no modifications. Launched for 2015, the Z28 was a track-ready evolution of the fifth-generation Camaro. It gained a number of competition-derived parts, including a belly pan that reduces front-end lift, a firmer suspension system, and a massive V8 bolted to a six-speed manual transmission. Chevrolet also made the Z28 lighter by removing some of the sound-deadening material, among other parts, and fitting a thinner rear window. Most historians agree that less than 2,000 units of the Z28 were built.Power comes from a 7.0-liter "LS7" V8, rated at 505 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
