A November 2020 service included replacement of the valve cover gaskets and rear camshaft O-ring, while a California Smog test was also performed in that month.This Montero is the range-topping Limited trim level, and it was factory-equipped with a limited-slip rear differential, leather seats with power adjustment, a panoramic sunroof, and automatic climate control with rear-seat controls.The third-generation Montero debuted for the 2001 model year with a new unibody construction over independent front and rear suspension. Limited versions swapped out the base 4-speed automatic for a 5-speed autobox.Power comes from a 3.5-liter V6, which produces 200 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission, a 2-speed transfer case with a locking center differential, and a limited-slip rear differential.
