2013 BMW M5, finished in Azurite Black Metallic with a Sakhir Orange interior. Extensively modified, this M5 is fitted with Darton Sleeves cylinder sleeves, CP Carillo connecting rods, Calico coated main and connecting rod bearings, Diamond Racing Pistons PTFE-coated pistons, Garrett Motion GTX3576R turbochargers, Xtreme-DI high-pressure fuel pumps, an SSP Performance Spec-X DCT transmission kit, a carbon fiber driveshaft from The Driveshaft Shop, and 21-inch Litespeed Racing forged wheels, among other aftermarket parts. More details about the modifications performed on this BMW are provided below, and photos showing some of the work being performed are pictured in the gallery.Factory equipment includes an Electronic Damper Control (EDC) suspension system, a sunroof, soft-close doors, heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable active front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a navigation system, a head-up display, and a surround-view camera. This M5's build sheet is pictured in the gallery.BMW introduced the fifth-generation M5 for 2013. It was based on the F10-generation 5 Series and it swapped its predecessor's naturally-aspirated V10 for a twin-turbocharged V8, though it offered enthusiasts a generous bump in horsepower and torque. This version of the M5 was also considerably more high-tech than its predecessor, but BMW M engineers went to great lengths to ensure the electronics didn't dilute the driving experience. Production ended in 2016.Power comes from a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, rated at 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications increase those figures to 757 and 703, respectively, according to dyno numbers shown in one of the videos. Called "S63" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission.
