2007 Ford F-150 Roush Nitemare. Roush only built 100 F-150s with the Nitemare Package in 2007, and this truck is number 42 according to a plaque in the engine bay. Equipment includes the Roushcharger 5.4-Liter Powertrain Package, a chin spoiler, dual exhausts, 20-inch chrome wheels, a billet aluminum grille, unique badging, special gauges, embroidered floor mats, leather seating, unique dash trim, billet aluminum pedals, and a 3.73 rear axle with a limited-slip differential, among other items.Additional modifications include 3-inch Dynatech long tube headers, SpinTech mufflers, a Hellwig sway bar, 300-cell catalytic converters, a custom tune by Team JDM, and more as detailed below.When Ford discontinued the SVT Lightning in 2004 Roush saw an opening in the enthusiast sector for an aftermarket supercharged performance truck. Based on the FX2 standard cab, these trucks only came in black. The Nitemare was the fastest truck on the market in its era, with testers at Motor Trend clocking a 13.55-second quarter-mile.Power comes from a 5.4-liter supercharged V8, rated at 455 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Team JDM claims their upgrade kit boosts the power to 500 hp. No torque figure is listed, however, the engine likely produces a significant amount more torque than the factory 500 lb-ft rating. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a limited-slip differential.
