Finished in Imperial Jade Mica with an Ivory leather interior. Following its acquisition, the selling dealer reports that they replaced an ABS wheel speed sensor, performed an oil change, and serviced the transmission. This first-year, second-generation GS was factory-equipped with the optional navigation system, 6-disk CD changer, heated front seats, power sunroof, xenon headlights, rear spoiler, and chrome wheels. This was reportedly every option available for the car since the Nakamichi audio system could not be combined with the navigation system.The second-generation GS injected "something wicked" — as per their advertising campaign — into the mid-size Lexus sedan thanks to its V8 engine option and decidedly more performance-oriented ride and handling. Lexus touted that it was the fastest automatic sedan in the world at the time of its release.Power comes from a "1UZ-FE" 4.0-liter V8, which produces 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission.
