Product Details

Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic with light blue pinstriping, a blue soft top, and a black interior. Modifications made to this Prowler include several exterior decals, a Prowler-branded transmission cooler cover, and aftermarket exhaust tips. It's equipped with 17-inch front wheels, 20-inch rear wheels, and leather upholstery, among other features.Launched for the 1997 model year, the Plymouth Prowler channeled the spirit of 1930s hot rods with a head-turning design that wouldn't look out of place in a Hot Wheels catalog. It was sold as a Plymouth for the 1997, 1999, and 2000 model years, and it became a Chrysler after the Plymouth brand was discontinued in 2001. 11,702 units were assembled largely by hand at the Conner Avenue plant in Detroit, including 3,170 Chrysler-badged models. Production ended in 2002 and the Prowler was not replaced.Chrysler charged $600 (about $900 in 2021) for the Mulholland Edition package, which added light blue pinstriping and a blue soft top, among other equipment. Most sources agree that around 1,281 units were ordered with the Mulholland Edition package.Power for this Prowler comes from a 3.5-liter V6, which produces 253 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transaxle.
