Product Details

1989 Land Rover 110 Ambulance, finished in white with a grey interior. This Defender is a U.K.-spec, right-hand-drive SUV. It's equipped with an imperial instrument cluster, and its odometer currently shows approximately 18,000 miles. Factory equipment includes 16-inch steel wheels, a dual-range transfer case, vinyl upholstery, and manual windows.Modifications include an ambulance conversion performed by Wadham Stringer Coachbuilders LTD in the UK. The conversion included the custom rear cabin, exterior lights and graphics, siren, tinted rear windows, two gurneys, and associated accessories.Other modifications are limited to a rear view camera mirror, a Weber 4-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an upgraded fuel pump, and anodized wheel hubs.Land Rover introduced the long-wheelbase 110 and the short-wheelbase 90 in 1983 and 1984, respectively, to replace the long-running Series III in the countryside and in the armed forces. While both models looked a lot like their predecessors, they offered users a more up-to-date interior, a permanent 4-wheel-drive system, and coil springs, among other improvements. The 110 and the 90 morphed into the original Defender in 1990, and production carried on with minor updates until 2016.Power comes from a 3.5-liter V8, rated at 134 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. It spins the four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
